The Amazing Spider-Man Needs Reshoots

RELEVANT.

Any time I hear about a movie needing reshoots it makes me a little nervous. Especially when it’s a movie that’s being “rebooted” when the last movie before the reboot is still fresh in everyone’s minds (well, more rotten than fresh). That said, I’m still holding out hope that The Amazing Spider-Man will be good, because the first trailer was pretty cool, Rhys Ifans’ Lizard voice is awesome, and I like Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield.

Nonetheless, this casting call for the 17th of this month went out for “Fiona’s Tale”, the working title of The Amazing Spider-Man:

FIONA’S TALE IS BACK AND WE ARE FILMING ON THURS 11/17. WE ARE LOOKING FOR MEN & WOMEN WITH THE NYPD UNI FOR POSS WORK ON 11/17. PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU ALREADY WORKED ON THE MOVIE AND WHAT YOU DID ON IT. NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS.

So if you’re in New York City and already have an NYPD uniform lying around (no questions asked), you could be an extra in the reshoots. All you have to do is contact them by carrier pigeon, apparently. Or maybe by bat signal? It would be strange to have to contact them via bat signal for a Spider-Man movie. What say you, Andrew Garfield?

It wasn’t the ice cream that said– ah, nevermind.
