We’ve got to be honest, here: upon reading that Peter Weller was going to play an evil CEO in the next Star Trek movie, our kneejerk reaction was found at right.
Not that we mind Peter Weller playing an evil CEO, but this seems to be part of the Abrams campaign to leave absolutely no cliche whatsoever out, even ones that really don’t belong. We’re pretty sure this was the only reason Kirk ran away from ice planet dinosaurs in the last movie, because we sure can’t find anything in the script to justify it.
Also, we’re going to be buried under an ocean of OCP jokes, but we here at Gamma Squad are above such things.
