So, you’ve finally beaten the impossible-to-beat game. You’re pumped full of adrenalin as a triumphant fanfare plays in your head…and then you go tell your friend/brother/parents/girlfriend of your feat, and they just shrug and give you a half-hearted “oh, good for you”.
It’s near impossible to express to others the excitement that comes from truly kicking ass in a difficult video game. Their reactions to your accomplishments are almost always going to be disappointing.
