The Crysis games have always primarily served as advertisements for Crytek’s latest graphics engine, so it’s appropriate that the latest Crysis 3 trailer doesn’t really impart any information about the title’s story or gameplay, but rather just shows us lots of extremely detailed, effects-laden environments. Also, a very nice looking toad.

Yup, those are some pretty sweet graphics. Too bad the Crysis games themselves are kinda generic. Don’t tease me Crytek — get out of the FPS box and make a game about that toad.
