‘Iron Man 3’ Blows Up Records Overseas, And We Have A New Clip And Parodies

Pictured: A dramatization of Tony Stark with overseas box office records in the background.

Iron Man 3 opened in 42 international markets this weekend, exceeding some of the records that were recently Hulksmashed by The Avengers. Iron Man 3 grossed an estimated $195.3 million in those 42 markets, compared to $185.1 million in 39 markets for The Avengers last summer. It also had the largest opening weekend ever in eight markets: Argentina, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Right now The Avengers is the third highest-grossing film ever, and Iron Man 3 may be exceeding it if it keeps up this pace. Tony Stark has just one thing to say.

Even if Iron Man 3 hadn’t smashed records this weekend, we’d have to post something about the movie because we found a picture of Robert Downey, Jr. chillin’ in a tree and had to make this:

I regret nothing.

We also have two clips to share. One of them is called “Airforce One Rescue” and is self-explanatory. The other is a parody showing a less intimidating moment from The Mandarin. You’ll, never, see, him, coming (except when you do). Guess which one is the parody.
