So, some folks online put together a fake trailer for a “gritty reboot” of Calvin and Hobbes. It works pretty well — maybe a little too well. If a Calvin and Hobbes movie actually did happen, I’m pretty much 100% convinced this is exactly what Hollywood would try to do with it. Except, you know, Shia LaBeouf would play Calvin, and Hobbes would be voiced by Jonah Hill or something.
