Megan Fox May Return For ‘Transformers 4’. Or Not. Either Way, Somebody At Paramount Is In Trouble.

UPDATE: Michael Bay says Megan Fox isn’t in Transformers 4.

Megan Fox and Michael Bay recently reconciled enough for Bay to cast her as April O’Neil in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot he’s producing, but does that mean they’re getting along well enough for him to cast her in a movie he’s directing? That’s the speculation originating from a picture posted to Paramount’s Instagram page.

It started after Michael Bay tweeted a picture of a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador that will appear in Transformers 4, starring Mark Wahlberg (replacing Shia LaBeouf), Brenton Thwaites, and Nicola Peltz. Paramount added the picture to their Instagram account, hashtagging it #meganfox. A forum member at Michael Bay’s website asked about it, to which the moderator (not Bay) replied, “Someone’s in trouble. It’s gonna be a long week.”

Paramount then pulled the picture down, but not before Seibertron (via CBM) screencapped it:

Whether that means Megan Fox is actually cast in Transformers 4 (driving that car?) or somebody at Paramount just messed up isn’t clear. That’s not going to stop us from posting this relevant GIF.

To recap, Megan Fox compared Bay to Hitler in an interview with Wonderland Magazine in 2009, following a lot of weird back-and-forth between the two. Megan Fox was written out of Transformers 3 amid speculation about the real reason behind the firing. Michael Bay told GQ, “You know, the Hitler thing. Steven [Spielberg] said, ‘Fire her right now.'” And yet we still got another movie with Shia LaBeouf? Gee, thanks for nothing (except all those movies), Spielberg.

By the way, how awesome would it be if the subplot of Transformers 4 is that Mark Wahlberg’s character stole Megan Fox from Shia LaBeouf’s character and then stole his best friends Bumblebee and Optimus Prime as well? Just a whole movie about how lame Sam Witwicky was (and I guess robots will save Earth, too, or whatever).
