We have a new batch of photos from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (trailer here). Here’s a quick summary, via Screenrant, of where this installment begins. (But it just won’t be the same without the beard.)
Revolution now stirs in the hearts of citizens from the poorer districts of Panem – inspired by Katniss’ desperate act of defiance, which was only meant to help Peeta and she to stay alive in the arena. President Snow (Donald Sutherland) hatches a series of machinations to not just expose Katniss as a faux-revolutionary, but also eliminate her as a threat once and for all.
Lionsgate and EW have released the photo set below, featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Jerry Mathers as The Beaver, Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Woody Harrelson as himself, Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman, Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen, and Chauncey Brookes-Ashdown as Sillyname McGillicuddy.
If you were able to make it through that sentence, reward yourself by laughing at the awful concept of a Hunger Games Camp. Or just sting yourself with a tracker jacker and enjoy the trippy colors and possible respiratory arrest. Weeee!
