In 2015, we’re going to see a childhood argument — Who would win in a fight: Batman, Superman, or a velociraptor with a machine gun riding a shark?* — played out on screens in Batman Versus Superman. The screenwriter, David Goyer, won’t reveal the plot, but he does have his own opinion which he shared in a short video taken by the Associated Press.
“Most comic-book purists would say Batman because he’s the ultimate strategist, even though it makes no sense whatsoever,” Goyer told the Associated Press. After all, he explained, “If Superman just flicked his finger, Batman would be done for.” […] “I don’t know, you’ll have to watch the film in a year and a half or whatnot, when it comes out, to see what happens.” [THR]
This is coming from the same guy who suggested the mass destruction in Man Of Steel won’t happen again because Superman has learned to hold himself to a higher standard and not kill people.
And I think we can all agree Batman will win it with SICK BURNS.
