Forget What The Real Problems Are With ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ And Subway

Lionsgate debuted the first two clips from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (final trailer here). The first clip is a TV spot set to Christina Aguilera’s “We Remain”, while the second clip shows that guy from Rampart informing Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson that they will always have to fake it for the cameras. “From now on your job is to be a distraction, so people forget what the real problems are.” Reality TV, summed up perfectly.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire also has an interesting new sponsor.

Part of the blanket marketing campaign includes a tie in sandwich at Subway. Yes, really. Nothing like a dystopian saga about the 99% under the foot of the 1% to really have you hankering for a horse-meat and plastic-cheese footlong. [The Playlist]

The first clip below, in fact, is sponsored by Subway. Because, when I think about wasting away due to lack of nutrition, I think Subway. Eat fresh.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22nd.

Lionsgate has also released a new batch of photos.
