See Lono Get Angry In This Exclusive Preview Of ‘100 Bullets: Brother Lono’ #8

Let’s see here. Mexican cartels have antagonized Lono, formerly the warlord of a secret society, seemingly impossible to kill, and just generally not a nice guy in the first place. Oh yeah. This will end well for them.

100 Bullets: Brother Lono is, of course, a followup to the original Vertigo classic 100 Bullets, with the same creative team of Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso on writing and art, respectively. The miniseries, while it has a few ties to the book that came before it, largely centers on Lono and his… rage issues. Lono is a violent man who has done terrible things… but does that mean he’s beyond redemption?

In the last issue, seven issues of the cartels ticking Lono off ended… well, pretty much how you’d expect. Now, Lono’s best friend, a priest, is tied up in the desert, the cartel are all in their compound, and Lono? Well, see for yourself. 100 Bullets: Brother Lono #8 is out next week.
