We’re Here To Liveblog The Premiere Of ‘The Flash’

The Flash debuts tonight as one of the more promising shows on network TV. At least for gathering a cult audience of rabid nerds. But, hey, that was good enough for Arrow to get three seasons so far, so we’re sure The Flash will be fun as well.

For those unfamiliar, a brief recap. Barry Allen was introduced in Arrow‘s second season as a bright young forensics scientist from Central City. In addition to being far more upbeat than dour ol’ Ollie, he also got him to ditch the damn guyliner and wear a domino mask like a proper superhero. Then he went back to keep following up on the death of his mother… only to promptly be hit by a bolt of lightning courtesy of S.T.A.R. Labs screwing up, making him a superspeedster.

Beyond that, we’ve prepped a bit of light reading for you to get in the mood for the show’s premiere. Here’s a breakdown of what we know about the show so far and a look at the many, many heroes and villains that will be showing up to the party. And if you’ve never read a Flash comic, here’s a brief history of the character for you.

And now, we begin. Well, the liveblog will begin at 8pm EST, in the comments. Join us, won’t you?
