ABC aired Marvel’s 75th anniversary special (“Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop!”) last night, which included this clip from Agent Carter. Set in 1946, the video opens with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) asking Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) for help in tracking down his dangerous inventions which have been stolen and sold off. The clip introduces the McGuffin, “molecular nitroamine”, and the inspiration for Tony Stark’s A.I. butler, Howard Stark’s actual butler Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy).
More importantly, we like Agent Carter’s definition for “going to work”.
The eight-episode Agent Carter series premieres January 2015 on Tuesdays at 9 pm EST during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s hiatus.
