Robert Downey Jr. Releases An ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Character Poster And Teases A ‘Big Announcement’

Earlier this week we saw the first poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron , which confirmed the return of a few supporting actors. Now we have the first of many individual character posters, this one featuring Tony Stark in his new Mark XLIII suit, standing outside the compound of HYDRA’s Baron von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann), the same compound in which Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were being held captive during the post-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The poster was tweeted by Robert Downey Jr., who also said a “big announcement” is coming on March 5th. Last time Robert Downey Jr. teased big news coming, Marvel announced he’d signed for Captain America: Civil War. As for what this next announcement will be, could it be Iron Man 4? Or the director of the upcoming Spider-Man crossover? Or the actor who will replace Andrew Garfield as a younger Spider-Man? Or perhaps *fingers crossed* Robert Downey Jr. and James Spader are finally teaming up for Less Than Zero 2.
