At the moment, it seems fan films are the hot topic of the day following the release of Power/Rangers, a new action short that takes the beloved 90s series and makes it as dark and gritty as possible. So, given that, of course it wasn’t going to be long before another one surfaced. However, unlike Power/Rangers, there’s no debate over the intention of this Dragon Ball Z fan film. This one was made by earnest fans for earnest fans, not because the filmmakers were out to take down Hollywood’s pension for dark and gritty reboots. But, beyond that, it’s also pretty damn good!
