According to the title itself, Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 could be the last in the popular video game series.
A teaser image for Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 recently appeared on creator Scott Cawthon’s website. The image shows an even more demented version of the title character Freddy, an animatronic bear and star of a Chuck E. Cheese-style family restaurant.

Is this really the last of the Five Nights at Freddy’s games? Possibly, if the title is to be believed. The horror game series still has a movie adaptation forthcoming, so fans can at least look forward to that. Like the Saw franchise or Cher concert tour, however, Five Nights at Freddy’s will probably keep going beyond any self-proclaimed final chapters or last installments, as long as it keeps getting downloaded and making money. Similar to the Saw franchise, it will also be getting a Halloween release date, so Five Nights at Freddy’s 4: The Final Chapter will be available Oct. 31, 2015.
