As we all know, Ryan Reynolds was supposedly Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, before being replaced by what amounts to Baraka from Mortal Kombat with a few extra powers and his mouth sewn shut. You know, because invoking a beloved character and taking away his most beloved feature is how you engage the fans. Fortunately, said fans set things right in this minute-long short film found by Topless Robot.
A nice touch from the Ismahawk team is that Lame Deadpool does retain all his powers from that terrible movie Bryan Singer retconned out of existence last summer, while the real deal just has katanas, guns, and his healing abilities. Needless to say, though, that winds up being all he needs. Really, this should just be a series of Deadpool killing off poorly conceived versions of superheroes. Think of it: Deadpool vs. Batnipples.
