There’s still a lot we don’t know about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, like whatever black magic they’ve used to make BB-8 real. But thanks to Vanity Fair, we know who Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong’o are playing.

Driver, to the shock of no one, who maybe spent a little too much time overanalyzing the first teaser, is in fact playing main bad guy Kylo Ren in this movie. Essentially, there will now be even more Girls/Star Wars crossover fanfic than there already is.
Nyong’o, however, is going a slightly different route. She’s playing the CGI character Maz Kanata, a pirate with a large crew and who seemingly may only be on the side that makes her the most money. Think Jabba the Hutt, only probably not the size of a semi and more likely a good guy than a soulless smuggler. Although if she puts John Boyega in a brass Speedo, all bets are off.
