Mark Hamill Doesn’t Seem To Mind Amy Schumer’s GQ ‘Star Wars’ Spread All That Much

Following Trainwreck writer and star Amy Schumer’s rather racy use of several beloved Star Wars characters in her GQ cover shoot, Lucasfilm condemned the magazine on Twitter. They were specifically unhappy with the photos’ “inappropriate use” of their characters, especially since they didn’t “approve, participate or condone” the shoot.

The cover shoot was, of course, satirical in nature, which means the legality of Schumer sucking on C-3PO’s finger is a bit less stringent than otherwise. Yet it didn’t seem to phase another member of the Star Wars family:

That’s right, folks. Luke Skywalker himself, actor Mark Hamill, jokingly tweeted that he’d thought Schumer had been cast in Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII. He even went so far as to opine, “we should be so lucky.” I’m sure that was also a joke.

Then again, this is coming from the guy whose character fell in love with his own twin sister.
