Will ‘Deadpool’ Make An Appearance At San Diego Comic-Con?

When referring to Saturday’s official schedule for this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, one might find a 20th Century Fox panel listed for that evening. While the studio hasn’t announced details for that hour and 45 minute chunk of time, speculation points to an appearance by Deadpool.

Given his recent stint on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, as well as the planned promotion for Ryan Reynolds‘ new film Self/Less, it seems inevitable that the Merc with a Mouth will show up at some point. The above video from Collider further adds to the speculation as Reynolds confirms he is packed and ready to head to San Diego:

“Yeah, I am ready to go. I’m really excited about it actually. I’ve only been there once and it’s mayhem, but, you know, we’re coming in with a ton of goodwill and a truly great film so I’m really happy about that.”

Aside from this, both the studio and Reynolds are keeping tight-lipped about what might be planned for the event. 20th Century Fox’s Hall H panel is scheduled for Saturday from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. Since production on Deadpool wrapped over a month ago, here’s hoping we’ll finally get a glimpse of some footage from the highly anticipated film.
