‘Warcraft’ Trailer Leaks From Comic-Con

UPDATE: Unfortunately the footage has been removed. But you can soar through the epic world of Azeroth in the above official 360 video inspired by the Warcraft movie and developed by Industrial Light & Magic xLAB.

Original post follows:

San Diego Comic-Con footage has leaked from Warcraft, the adaptation of World of Warcraft from Duncan Jones, the director of Moon and Source Code (and son of David Bowie, for you bar trivia fans). The bootleg clip follows Toby Kebbell (Horde member Durotan) leading his clan towards Draenor, whatever the hell that means.

This is a rough cut of all-CGI footage, as the film doesn’t even release until June 10, 2016. The first official trailer isn’t supposed to be finished until November, and you can be certain this wasn’t an intentional leak, considering the guy loudly complaining about how much he doesn’t like the trailer. Even if his points may be fair, any time someone complains loudly enough in a theater for me to hear them, I just think of dudes like — appropriately enough — Cartman playing World of Warcraft:
