Batman Ascends To Godhood In This Exclusive Preview Of This Week’s ‘Justice League’

In the DC universe, Metron is the fountain of all knowledge. One of the New Gods, he’s essentially Spock with a TARDIS and absolutely no moral sense whatsoever, crossing the universe, absorbing every last scrap of knowledge and trivia. There’s almost no mystery unknowable to him, no truth he cannot uncover, no meaning he cannot divine.

And amid all that omniscience, you’d think Metron would realize Batman could totally steal his chair and all its knowledge. But arrogance trumps intelligence, every time, and now the Justice League has a big problem on its hands.

Oh, did I happen to mention that Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor, who you might remember destroyed the entire DC universe once, are about to go to war? If you want to know what happens next, be sure to pick up Justice League #43, out in stores and on digital this Wednesday. And if you’d like to follow the whole story from the beginning, The Darkseid War began in Justice League #41.
