Here’s Where You’ll See Olivia Munn’s Fighting Skills In The ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Trailer

It’s been a few months since this year’s San Diego Comic Con came to a close. Since then, we’ve seen the official trailers for the likes of Batman v Superman, Deadpool, and Suicide Squad make it into theaters and online. However, since its sneak peek back in July, the first official trailer for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse has been missing from the pop-culture ether.

Sure, the trailer that was shown in Hall H was lacking in the effects department, which qualified it, most definitely, as a rough cut. Still, with the other big comic-book movies showing their hands, it may be time for the masses to be introduced to Olivia Munn’s Psylocke and Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse.

With production officially wrapped on the film, a new rumor has surfaced — thanks to Heroic Hollywood —  that claims the first full trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters next month when Ridley Scott’s The Martian premieres on Oct. 2. As with movie trailers nowadays, this probably means the internet will get the footage some time between now and then.

Aside from Munn and Isaac, the new trailer — when screened at Comic-Con — introduced other new cast members including Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), and Storm (Alexandra Shipp). What’s most important, however, it Apocalypse’s four horsemen, which will include Michael Fassbender’s Magneto, Storm, Ben Hardy’s Angel/Archangel and Munn’s Psylocke.

And speaking of Psylocke, in keeping with her previous updates, Olivia Munn shared a new video on Instagram showing off some pretty impressive blade skills. If anything, this new movie will show us a kickass side of Munn we’ve never really seen before and it looks like she is taking this fight training very seriously.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set to hit theaters nationwide on May 27, 2016. With Deadpool coming next February and Gambit set for an October 2016 release, it’s looking like next year is shaping up to be a good year for mutants. P.S. I know Deadpool isn’t technically a mutant so shhh!
