‘Fallout 4’ Fanatics Take Note, Nuka-Cola Quantum Soda Is About To Be A Real Thing

Just last week, it was reported that Amazon UK and Carlsberg UK are getting on the Fallout promo train as they are delivering a new limited edition beer to the video game playing masses just in time for the new title’s release. While the new Fallout beer is only available across the pond, fans in America will soon be able to live out their own personal Nuka Cola Break dreams as Target will begin selling Nuka Cola Quantum this month.

Bethesda Softworks has teamed up with niche soft drink maker Jones Soda Company to bring the purple (or is it blue?) glowing cola to life. According to The Verge, the limited edition refreshment will be sold at participating Target locations across the US. To refresh your vault dwelling memories, Nuka-Cola Quantum is a variety of Nuka-Cola that gets its glow from the small amount of radioactive strontium contained there-in.

It’s pretty safe to say the store-bought soda will not include that glow-worthy ingredient, so you can rest your pretty little heads. This real life Nuka-Cola Quantum is allegedly just a repackaged version of Jones Soda’s Berry Lemonade variety. However, the word is still out on whether the accompanying bottle caps of the famed beverage will be usable as any sort of currency. Whatever the case, Nuka-Cola Quantum will hit the shelves as a nifty little tie-in to the release of Fallout 4, which is coming on November 10th.
