‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Players Are Going On Crazy Kill Streaks Thanks To An Invincibility Glitch

“If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.”

You weren’t kidding, Obi Wan. While Star Wars Battlefront is a generally solid online shooter, it’s apparently been beset by a glitch that grants certain players invincibility once they die and respawn. Once the glitch is triggered, the player’s life bar simply won’t budge (no matter what they’re shot with) until the end of the match, allowing even the most hapless of players to go on pretty impressive killing sprees. You can check out video of a player wreaking havoc with the glitch above.

So far, there’s no agreed-upon method of replicating the glitch. Some people think you need to take control of an X-Wing or TIE Fighter, then intentionally crash them into the ground. Others think there’s no particular rhyme or reason to it, but very few glitches are truly random. There’s almost certainly something setting it off, and I’m sure Star Wars fans will discover what that is before too long.

As of now, EA and DICE have yet to comment on or offer any solution to the glitch. I suggest you enjoy those extra kills while you can still get them.
