When we last left Arrow, Ollie managed to save his son from Damien Dahrk and get him arrested in the process. Hooray! But then he got dumped by Felicity. Boo! And now Malcolm, who appears to still be upset that Ollie beat him in a straight fight, is taking over as the big bad.
In what’s kind of a groaner, Ollie, newly heartbroken, has to deal with Cupid, who if you’ve forgotten her, is basically Kathy Bates from Misery, except with a bow. It appears she’s going around ruining weddings, but unlike the ex who lost it at the reception and got in a screaming match with the groom’s mother, Cupid’s just been killing the couples outright. So, proving that Team Arrow can always make a breakup worse, Ollie and Felicity are going to fake getting back together to lure her out.
You know, because there’s nothing that helps you stay on good terms with your ex like faking happiness for the purpose of trapping a psychotic killer. Was this Ollie’s idea? We bet this is Ollie’s idea. Ollie should leave the tactical planning to Diggle, or at least ask his sister if she’s willing to pretend to be in love with Barry for an episode.
