As soon as it was announced Assassin’s Creed Syndicate would take place in Victorian London, you knew Jack The Ripper was going to have to be involved. Sure enough, Ubisoft has revealed the contents of the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate season pass, and it includes a campaign where you have to hunt down and rip The Ripper.
Here’s what else you can expect in the season pass in addition to the Jack The Ripper campaign…
The Last Maharaja mission pack: Discover 10 brand-new missions set within London, and join Duleep Singh to reclaim his birthright as the Maharaja. In his quest to reclaim his heritage, he will take on the Templars and test his friendship with the queen.
A Long Night exclusive mission: Help Jacob track down an endangered fellow gang member and bring him back to the hideout in a fast-paced, wild, and dangerous ride.
Streets of London gameplay pack: Gain access to more than one hour of extra gameplay via new missions, and obtain additional weapons, gear, and outfits.
Two top-tier sets of gear and weapons: Give your arsenal a steam-powered twist with the Steampunk Pack, and immerse yourself in the most famous novels of the Victorian era with the Victorian Legends Pack. Both sets include state-of-the art gear and weapons, as well as a new outfit.
Exclusive XP boost: All season pass holders receive an exclusive permanent XP boost.
Thus far there’s no word on what the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate season pass will cost, but hopefully it’s less than the regular $30 – $40 these things usually go for, because this looks pretty thin. It seems like the Jack the Ripper campaign will be the only major expansion to the story. Everything else is a “mission pack” or “gameplay pack,” aka, a few scattered challenges you can clean up in an hour or two. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate hits shelves Oct. 23.
