One of the more entertaining parts of watching Marvel movies is trying to catch all the little Easter eggs and obscure references to Marvel comics peppered throughout. It sometimes seems like Marvel spends more time and effort on these little moments than on actually crafting cohesive plots.
As you would expect of a big crossover movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron is particularly packed with Easter eggs and little winks for the hardcore comics fan. My favorite one is probably the rationale behind Tony Stark calling the Hulkbuster armor “Veronica.” Yes, it is a reference to Archie comics.
