Admittedly, it is a little odd to see the god of another belief system sing the praises of Jesus. But Thor never struck us as one of those people uptight about holiday greetings anyway.
The video, which cuts together dialogue from the various Marvel movies, might feel a little familiar. That’s because it’s the work of James Covenant, who previously had Vader cover Carly Rae Jepsen and brought you Picard’s take on Make, er, Let It Snow. Covenant is something of an expert at taking at least semi-serious action movies and turning them into goofy videos; just look at what he did to Ultron.
So, get into the season with the Avengers! At least until killer robots or Norse gods attack their Christmas dinner and they learn a valuable lesson about family, which will be conveniently forgotten the next time Marvel wants to run a Christmas issue.
