Avengers: Age of Ultron is barely a month away, which means the traditional slew of well-timed viral videos should start rolling out any day now. Perhaps the biggest indicator that a viral video tsunami is about to hit a film with an ensemble cast — see: Guardians of the Galaxy — just landed, as The Avengers finally received the Friends‘style opening credits they deserve.
Seeing as how it’s been more than three years since the original film’s release, it should come as no surprise that the Friends theme has previously been laid over Avengers footage. But I’m partial to this new version, mostly because Jeremiah Rivera got the font and campy smiles right — and made good use of the iconic clap-clap-clap-clap.
