Batman Is Having A Fun Texas Roadtrip In The Photography Of Rémi Noël

Something’s about to get bigger in Texas.

French photographer Rémi Noël has been touring Texas backroads with his only traveling companion, a Batman action figure. What? You’ve never gone on a roadtrip with Batman? Then you haven’t lived.

Noël has a penchant for classic Americana like Jack Kerouac and taking black and white photos on silver film, with no photoshopping or digital alteration of whatever he happens to find along the way. Often (but not always) what he finds is an adventure for his Batman to enjoy. Noël is assembling some of these photos into “the least precise map of Texas”, a travelogue of four Texas roadtrips taken between 2004 and 2012.

We’ve collected our ten favorites among Batman’s adventures in Texas. More pictures are available at Remi Noël’s website. Thanks to Dean Trippe and Fubiz for the assist.
