So, Batman: Arkham Origins has arrived, but did you know it’s not the only Bat-game hitting today? Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, an entirely original, handheld, 2.5D Metroid-esque game, also comes out today for the 3DS and Vita.
Blackgate may not be grabbing as many headlines as its console big brother, but it’s worth a look — the game features some impressive production values for a handheld title and was developed by a team made up of guys who worked on the Metroid Prime series. These guys know how Medtroidvania right.
