Did you know there’s going to be a separate handheld version of Batman: Arkham Origins? There is! Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is a 2.5 action/platformer, which looks to takes the Arkham series back to its roots — much like the original Arkham Asylum, the game takes place in a single sprawling prison-like environment crawling with some of Batman’s most iconic enemies.

Hmmm, not sure why guys like the Joker are in Blackgate instead Arkham in this game, but I’m sure it will be explained. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate hits the 3DS and Vita the same day Arkham Origins hits consoles (October 25th).
