Warner presented a half-hour special called Dawn of the Justice League on The CW Tuesday night, where they debuted a new full trailer for Suicide Squad and the first footage from Wonder Woman, among other things. Speaking of that Wonder Woman first look, we’re just going to be watching this GIF all day.
That wasn’t all the Dawn of the Justice League special had in store for us, although we wouldn’t have complained if it had only been thirty uninterrupted minutes of Wonder Woman kicking things (just saying). They also aired a featurette on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, including a bit of new footage here and there and snippets of interviews with Zack Snyder, Ben Affleck, and Henry Cavill.
The main takeaway from the interviews is that Batman is getting weary and, as Affleck has said before, he’s haunted by his rage. Oh, and he’s also totally ripped, the better to pick up lots of Kryptonite with, ’cause come on, how else would he fight Superman unless he had his Dark Knight Returns-inspired strength-augmenting, Kryptonite-enhanced armor? Pull ups?
