Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 seems to be trying to justify its existence by throwing as many recognizable TMNT villains at the screen as it can. In addition to Shredder, we’ve got Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop, and we may even be getting a disgusting live action version of Krang.
Well, it’s time to add yet another villain to the cast, as Brittany Ishibashi has been cast as Karai, the Foot Clan second-in-command/leader (depending on if Shredder is around at the moment). A different actress (Minae Noji) briefly played Karai in the last TMNT move, but word is that the character will have more of a presence in the sequel. Up until now, Ishibashi has mostly been a TV actress, having appeared on Felicity, Angel, Grey’s Anatomy, House, Bones and dozens of other shows.
So, what other villains might end up being cast in this movie? Mickey Rourke as Leatherhead? Tom Hardy as a very mumbly Rocksteady? Just spitballin’ here. What do you folks think?
