The holidays are a time of joy, sharing, and love, where families unite and friends meet under the auspices of celebrating the close of the year. In other words, it’s Light Side all the way, so Vader is ready to pull a Grinch and show us the power, and mean-spiritedness, of the Dark Side, with a little help from some charcoal briquettes, some stormtroopers, and one very inappropriate Christmas ornament.
This short by Corridor Digital, best known for their video game fan films, explores exactly what would happen when a Sith Lord decides to go full Grinch. Suffice to say, the Whos down in Whoville should be grateful the Grinch never got his hands on some actual resources, or the only thing growing three sizes that day would be the nearby asteroid belt.
Some might say destroying the entire planet is kind of a Christmas bummer, but then again, maybe Vader just hasn’t seen all of our planet yet. Really, taking him to the mall this week would probably be enough to convince him the Dark Side will soon take hold of all of Earth. And he could also get a really good deal on a new TV!
