Consoles, PCs, handhelds, Facebook, smartphones — the world of gaming is becoming increasingly confusing and fragmented, but don’t worry, we’re here to simplify things for you. Outlast: Whistleblower (PC & PS4, May 6th)

Outlast snuck up on gamers like a crazed mental patient to become one of the indie hits of 2013, and now the horror continues. Outlast: Whistleblower is a prequel starring the mysterious man who tipped Miles Upshur off about what was going on at Mount Massive Asylum. Start steeling your nerves now.

This Week’s Handheld Game

The Denpa Men 3: The Rise of Digitoll (3DS, May 9th)

Nintendo’s series of adorable mini-RPGs continues with The Denpa Men 3: The Rise of Digitoll. As in past Denpa Men games, you catch the titular little dudes via an augmented reality mini-game, then set out on dungeon hacking adventures. This newest entry also adds some Animal Crossing-esque elements (you know, just in case the series wasn’t charming enough already).
