Follow Snake’s Luxurious Mullet Through 12-Minutes Of ‘Metal Gear Solid V’ Gameplay Footage

The Tokyo Game Show is going in Japan right now, which means lots of new footage of all sorts of Japanese games, including perhaps the biggest one of all, Metal Gear Solid V! The 12-minutes of gameplay footage we have for you are from the familiar “Ground Zeroes” camp infiltration scenario that Konami’s already shown bits of, but we’ve never seen it played out in such detail before.

Hit the jump for the footage…

Before you watch the gameplay footage, here’s the latest Metal Gear Solid V trailer that we haven’t yet posted for some reason. Watch out, this is the red band version, so it’s a little bloody/disturbing at times…

Pretty epic, right? Well here’s what the game will look like when you’re actually playing (minus the Japanese nattering of course).

Noooot quite as seamless as the trailers (some of the animations are a bit goofy in particular) but it still seems pretty fun. Looks like there’s going to be lots of room to screw up and readjust your strategies on the fly, which is good for those of us who are terrible at stealth games. Also, that’s one beautiful fluffy mullet Snake. Or is that Big Boss? Sigh…Metal Gear.
