This Limited Edition ‘Game Of Thrones’ Xbox One Is Cooler Than Any Iron Throne

When George R.R. Martin was writing A Game of Thrones, the first novel in his A Song of Ice and Fire series, there’s no way he could have known what a cultural juggernaut it would become. The book became an HBO series, and the HBO series became a beer, an Iron Throne made out of dildos, an album, a worldwide tour, a creepy mask, and now, a limited edition Xbox One.

Just how limited? Only six have been made, and they’re not for sale. You can only win the console — which looks like the show’s opening credits, complete with swirling metal rings — by entering a contest. According to Xbox France’s (poorly translated) Facebook, “To celebrate the last episode of season six of Game of Thrones, likes and comments in an attempt to win the Xbox One collector and the box full of [Game of Thrones].” You can also try on Twitter.

Soon fans of Game of Thrones will be able to adorn their entire homes with Tyrion toilet paper, Drogon dining room sets, Ramsay punching bags, Melisandre barbecue grills, Hodor door stoppers, Hot Pie’s hot pies, and Littlefinger’s Chinese finger traps. That one’s not expected to be a big seller.
