Harrison Ford Delighted ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Fans With A Covert Theater Screening

Harrison Ford may have just accomplished something that might be more impressive than his iconic character Han Solo’s boast of making the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. As Star Wars: The Force Awakens is inching toward its Dec. 18 release date, Ford managed to make an impromptu and unannounced appearance on the Force Awakens press tour in Sydney, Australia. When the actor showed up at a preview screening of footage from the film, no one was aware that Ford was there, most likely, because of the unlikelihood of the actor being there.

According to Australia’s BMag, Ford stood up out of his seat after the conclusion of the footage that was screened, much to the delight of the attendees who had no idea that he was there. After promising the audience that there is a lot more of great stuff that is in store for them in the final completed film, the actor looked at the audience and said, “Let’s make a deal — don’t tell your friends what you’ve seen here today.”

The only thing that could have made Ford’s appearance even more epic would be if he was taken away from the screening by the Millennium Falcon as it was being piloted by a certain Wookie.

It’s also a safe bet that no one in the audience dared to tell a soul about what they saw for fear of ending up like Greedo. No one wants to end up like Greedo.
