These ‘Hitman: Agent 47’ Clips Feel A Lot Like The Game

Eight years after Fox took a crack at the franchise, Hitman: Agent 47 is going to take another, and much better-looking, run at the seemingly cursed genre of video game adaptations. The sniper clip up above is a good example: 47 in a disguise, pulling out a high-powered sniper rifle and taking an elaborate shot is as close to the game as it gets. The hotel fight:

Okay, perhaps a little less so, although it’s great somebody finally found a use for the Gideon Bible. Also, who lets their hostage/sidekick play with their Silverballers? That’s just babytown frolics, 47.

As a fan of the games, honestly, I’m looking forward to this. It seems to actually include much of what makes the games fun, such as ridiculous environmental kills and 47 turning out to be the smartest guy in the room. Really, all we need is a grim Rupert Friend in a chicken suit, and this is close to a perfect adaptation of the game.
