Hugh Jackman’s Favorite Scene As Wolverine Is Really No Surprise

With Hugh Jackman’s tenure as Wolverine coming to an end, the Australian X-Men star is looking back on his time as the best there is at what he does. During the recent press tour for Pan, Jackman took X-Men questions in between some talk about the fun behind playing a villain on screen. One such interview with Digital Spy featured Jackman revealing his favorite scene as Wolverine from over the years, and his choice is not a bad one:

“I still think, ultimately, my favorite moment is the cameo in First Class. To me, in just about 15 seconds, sums up the character to me.”

It’s hard to disagree, but his defense of the mansion in X2 has to be a close second. Third should be the cage fight from the very first X-Men film, if only for the line about hitting him “in the balls.” He’ll take it personal, after all.

He also laid out some advice for the next guy to play Wolverine (possibly Tom Hardy if you believe those earlier reports). Start training, and make sure it is at least six months in advance. Looking at Jackman in the first X-Men movie to now, it’s obvious he’s telling the truth. Check out the full interview below.
