Several sites, including Cineboobs, /film, and FirstShowing, have pointed out that IMDb listed John Cho as the star of The Green Hornet, even though the poster IMDb has on its page for the movie clearly says Jay Chou on it. For those not familiar with these two, Jay Chou is a 31-year-old Taiwanese pop musician who has sold over 28 million albums and could barely speak English when he was hired to play Kato. John Cho, on the other hand, is a 38-year-old Korean American who has spent most of his life in the U.S., speaks English fluently with an American accent, and looks f*ck all like Jay Chou. Damn it, IMDb. This is why we can’t have nice things.
Note: the IMDb page has now been fixed. And, yeah, I know it’s a user-edited website and dumb crap like this gets through sometimes. I’m just in a sparring mood today.
