L.A. Noire Is On How Many Discs Again?

Rockstar, as we all know, doesn’t screw around when it comes to game size. Just ask anybody who hasn’t completed any of the main missions in GTA IV yet because they’re still hunting down those stupid pigeons. But “L.A. Noire” is probably going to be their biggest sandbox yet.

How big? Three discs big, for 360 owners.

Part of this is just the massive amount of data needed for all the actors: those detailed faces and expressions aren’t cheap to generate. Another part is the fact that they basically crammed a big chunk of 1940s L.A. into a video game.

The third part is apparently they wrote so many cases for the game that they couldn’t fit them all in: the DLC you get for preordering turns out to be the cases they couldn’t cram onto the disc.

So, don’t call in sick for a day. Make it a week. Try Hyborean Crotch Rot. That should be good enough to keep your boss from asking questions.
