A few weeks ago, Legends of Tomorrow threw one heck of a curveball; most of the team was forced to ditch Ray, Kendra, and Sara in 1958. And, apparently, they’ve spent the intervening two years getting up to shenanigans. How will they deal with their teammates suddenly returning?
Probably not well, if the trailer is any indication. Sara appears to be picking back up with firepit enthusiast club the League of Assassins, while Ray decides to cheat and teach at the college level when he’s had 50 years of future science to publish from. See, this is why you memorize baseball scores from the era you go to; spread the action around a bit, don’t gamble too much, and keep moving, and you’ll do okay for yourself.
Anyway, needless to say they’re not entirely abandoned, but after two years, will the remaining members of the team want to leave? Will they ditch the mission in favor of all 1960 can offer them in terms of political backwardsness, Jell-O as a food group, the total lack of Netfli-you know what, the past was terrible. Of course they want to leave. We’ll find out just what stands in their way, probably Chronos, tonight at 8 p.m. EST on the CW. Join us, won’t you?
