Everyone has a story of the one they thankfully escaped from. Whether it’s drug use, casual arson, manipulation, or just a plain toxic relationship, everybody has an ex they never want to see again. Jim Gordon, though, has a worse ex than most in this latest episode of Gotham.
After more or less establishing Barbara has gone completely off the deep end in the opening few episodes, she’s mostly been relegated to whipping Richard Kind and a minute or two of complaining while everybody else does the fun stuff. But Gordon’s bad romance was going to come up sooner or later, and it appears tonight will be the night.
Elsewhere, it looks like Bullock and Barnes will be hunting down Gordon, hopefully with Bullock getting more one-liners in, while Nygma’s pesky tendency to murder people will once again bite him. Oh, and Galavan’s ongoing plotline of insinuating himself into Bruce Wayne’s life will keep being a thing, even though he really could just forge the will and kill the kid. This is Gotham, Theo. Nobody even notices this stuff.
Anyway, we’ll be sitting down to see just how Gordon solves his dating problems tonight at 8 p.m. EST. Join us, won’t you?
