Last week, the Flash went up against Professor Zoom, and it went about as badly as possible. Like, “severe injury” badly. And now there are more problems in Central City, as Gorilla Grodd is back and taking prisoners.
Yes, the fan favorite psychic ape has returned, and his first order of business is abducting Caitlin. Presumably he won’t be dangling her off a skyscraper, but it may not matter much: Barry’s in a wheelchair. Of course, we all know this is temporary… but it’s sure inconvenient! We’ll see if Grodd has an ADA compliant hideout starting at 8 p.m. on the CW.

Of course, we all know Coulson, super spy, isn’t falling for the honey trap last episode set up, but this episode does feature Ward coming back to pick on his former team. After all, he’s not just evil, he’s also a dick! But the last episode has a few hints that Ward might be getting outflanked by his supposed ally, Powers Boothe, and there’s nothing this show loves more this season than yanking the rug out from under. We’ll see just how far that rug gets pulled tonight at 9 p.m. EST, on ABC. Join us, won’t you?
