Can Ant-Man replicate the success of Guardians of the Galaxy? Probably not, but it is difficult to count out anything Marvel related at this point. The marketing blitz for the film is now in full swing and Marvel is doing their best to sell Paul Rudd’s heroic character as the next great hero.
Their strategy? Literally putting Ant-Man up next to the big three from The Avengers. In a set of new posters from the studio, Ant-Man presents his small stature alongside the iconic members of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Obviously the Iron Man poster looks the coolest, but I have one question from this set. Is Ant-Man worthy in his small form? Can he make it happen?
There’s also another TV spot that mentions the Avengers connection. The jury is still out on if this will be great (or if it will be able to survive outside of the Edgar Wright situation), but it at least looks like a fun movie.
