So, we know Disney is working on a “Doctor Strange” script, but that doesn’t mean they’re working on a Doctor Strange movie. Hollywood is notoriously opaque when it comes to the movie development process, so ordering a script means nothing.
And neither does a Disney subsidiary reserving the domain names of doctorstrangesoundtrack.com and drstrangesoundtrack.com, but it’s certainly interesting.
Again, this doesn’t mean the movie’s a 100% go; they don’t have minor elements like a director, or a star, or a budget. It can derail on any one of those, although Disney and Marvel are showing a surprising willingness to let go of the “huge star” demand to cast the right actor. But it definitely says there’s some behind the scenes momentum.
