The Season 4 Trailer For ‘Orphan Black’ Gives Fans An Unsettled Sarah And A Trigger-Happy Alison

After a somewhat uneven — but still thrilling — third season, fans of Orphan Black are looking at the upcoming season as a sort of course correct for our favorite band of sestras. Now that Sarah has been reunited with her daughter, Kira (easily one of the creepiest children on television), Clone Club is going to war again — this time going to the source with their makers. The mythology got a little muddled toward the end of last season, but show creators John Fawcett and Graeme Mason have the pieces in place to get things back to the basics that made the show great: Tatiana Maslany’s clones kicking ass and talking sexy science.

It appears that, despite being reunited, all is not well with Sarah and Kira as they head into “the black” with Mrs. S. Things don’t look much better for the other clones either, with Helena dealing with her pregnancy and Cosima struggling with her grief over losing Delphine, whose fate was left up in the air at the end of last season. There is probably reason to worry about the delightful Team Hendrix as well, as Alison is trading in her glue gun for a handgun and Donnie is forced to deal with his accidental murder of Dr. Leekie yet again. On top of all of that, the masked clone from earlier promos makes another appearance, leading fans to wonder if Beth somehow survived, or if a new sister is in the mix.

Long story short, April 14 feels like a long way away.
